Richard Borden (Dick), is a graduate of UCONN, with MBA and MPA degrees from the Universities of Hartford and New Haven. He and his wife, an interior decorator, live in Manchester, and have three children and six grandchildren. Dick is active in his church, enjoys woodworking, and often plays golf at the Tallwood Country Club in Hebron.


Richard is very active with the Rotary Club (the world’s largest and oldest service organization), and is a past District Governor and past president of the Manchester Rotary Club - a many time recipient of the prestigious Paul Harris award. He is on the board of directors for the Manchester Historical Society, a member of the Glastonbury and Manchester Chambers of Commerce, and a recipient of the Chester Bowles Community Service Award. For 28 years, Dick served as the town manager for 4 municipalities, including Glastonbury, Vernon and Cheshire.


Dick is a member of the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors and for about 15 years, Dick was the sole Owner of Borden Realty, which is now Borden-Lombardi Realty, due to a partnership with Liane Lombardi. He can be reached at 860-463-8103.

Liane Lombardi, a graduate of the UCONN School of Business (with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing), is a long-time resident of Manchester with her husband and rescue dog. A former sports car and stock car racer, Lombardi was also a gold medalist ice dancer with the Skating Clubs of Hartford and then Bolton, and is a member of the AE ski club. She volunteers and serves as a figure skating judge in the CT Special Olympics Winter Games. Other activities include dog events (Fast CAT - 100 yard dash), rooting for UCONN basketball and major league baseball teams, outdoor activities, and learning how to fly remote control airplanes (member- AMA & Wintonbury Flying Club).

Lombardi is a member of the Manchester Rotary Club and a recipient of the prestigious Paul Harris award. She has been active with many community service projects and the Rotary Music Garden events at Charter Oak Park, and was on the Board of Directors for the Manchester Symphony Orchestra and Chorale. Also a member of the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors, Lombardi has been with Borden-Lombardi Realty since 2005. With many years of customer service and corporate marketing experience prior to becoming a realtor, Lombardi - now a broker - has been a partner at Borden-Lombardi Realty since 2012.

Liane has attained the following 3 specialist designations acknowledging experience, training, and expertise in the following: Seller Representative Specialist (SRS - the premier credential in seller representation), a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES® - which focuses on serving the real estate needs of clients aged 50+), and a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES - which focuses on helping executors and administrators of estates).

Lombardi was awarded the 2018 HomeLight Award for Top Negotiating and the Five Star Real Estate Award for customer service in 2015, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 (for each of the past 7 years - see images below!) and her photo and information are featured in the March 2025 issue of CT Magazine!
